Book Cover: "I Identify As Blind," a brazen celebration of disability culture, identity, and power.

I Identify As Blind

Recording artist, activist, and provocateur Lachi redefines what it means to celebrate disability, by showcasing the innovations and leadership within her community, and by framing disability as an identity, a cultural force, and a reservoir of resilience and creativity.

In I Identify As Blind, Lachi interviews some of the most powerful personalities in Disability Culture, including Senator Tammy Duckworth, ADA advocate and disability rights icon Judy Heumann, Oscar-nominated filmmaker of Crip Camp Jim LeBrecht, (and Medusa—holler.).

Readers discover how many innovations created for people with disabilities benefit everyone—from audio books, to curb cuts, to the Internet.

The Colors In My Mind

Chris Redding’s ‘The Colors in My Mind’ isn’t just another entry in the music world; it’s a very personal sonic expression, a father’s viewpoint on neurodivergence, and a musical handshake extended toward his own son. Released on August 29, 2025, the album has already made waves, topping the New Age charts on iTunes and earning a GRAMMY® nomination for Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album.

A centerpiece of the album is the powerful anthem Love Cure, produced by Jay MiniProducer Manuel and co-written by Chris Redding, Medusa, and Lachi—an award-winning disabilities advocate and the executive producer of the album. Lachi, a blind recording artist and activist, is the founder of the U.N.-recognized organization RAMPD.org. She has previously collaborated with iconic artists such as Stevie Wonder and Snoop Dogg and has been recognized as a USA Today Woman of the Year (2024) and a Billboard Pride List honoree (2025).
